A conference on the integration of women in peace processes, organized by the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU, was held in Tournai on March 21. In the presence of Her Majesty Queen Mathilde, experts, including CRGs Maria Martin de Almagro Iniesta, discussed the importance of the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda. The seminar highlighted the important role of women in conflict situations and the need for inclusive approaches to avoid or resolve conflicts.
