Amina Adebisi Odofin

Amina's main academic interests are decolonial ecology, petro-politics, and black feminism. She has a bachelor's degree in political science from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and graduated from the Universiteit Gent with a master's degree in Conflict and Development Studies. Before joining the research group, Amina worked as a European Lead Campaigner for Greenpeace International against the fossil industry. Her PhD research seeks to contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of the complex relationships between resource extraction, racialized violence, and the ongoing struggle for environmental and gender justice in the context of colonial legacies.
