Marte Beldé (she/her) holds two master’s degrees from Ghent University in Arab and Islamic Studies and in Conflict and Development. Her research focuses on Salafi-Jihadist conflict in the Sahel and on the construction of knowledge and imaginaries about conflict. She is currently conducting research in Mali.
